Thames Hospice will always have a special place in my heart after caring for my late husband with such dignity and compassion.  He spent his last 12 days in the hospice and with the support of the staff we organised a birthday party which he attended in his hospital bed, he had 3 week old puppies on his lap a couple of days before he passed , bacon sarnies, Guinness and was even allowed our 2 dogs to say goodbye. 

Thames Hospice supports terminally ill people aged 16 years and over and their families so that they don’t have to face unimaginable heartbreak alone. It costs £12 million every year to provide this care which families like ours depended on, they rely on charitable support for over 50% of their funds so every bit counts.

So, as most of you know I’m an endurance and fundraising nutter and every couple of years I take on something bigger and more challenging
