Parachute for PAPYRUS - Lancaster 09th April 2022 · 9 April 2022 ·

Papyrus is a young person’s suicide prevention charity. That means we provide urgent support, education, campaigns and conversations that keep children and young people safe from suicide. And above all else, we’re here. We’re always here. That’s how we save lives.

Story

I lost my amazing sister Caroline in 2009 and in her memory as a family we have always supported PAPYRUS which is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Fundraiser Update

I took to the sky on 9th April to parachute for PAPYRUS. To challenge myself even further I went up to 15,000ft and was free falling at 120mph. I've added some photos of my skydive to my gallery so you can see me flying through the clouds.

Thank you so much for all of your support in helping me raise over 1k. The support I've received from family, friends and colleagues has been overwhelming.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINEUK.

Every £5 raised can help pay for a life-saving contact to HOPELINEUK. Your donations really are lifesaving, I appreciate any support you can give to help save young lives and prevent more families from becoming bereaved by suicide.

Thank you so much  x
