Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A team of us (names listed below) are walking 15 miles to raise money for the Early Birth Association.

The EBA supported myself (Jemma)  and Andi after our little girl, Tilly, was born at 24+5 weeks in Jan 2015, weighing just 360 grams (13ozs).

Tilly spent 5 months in hospital before coming home and we had a wonderful 6 months with her at home, but she picked up a bug in January 2016 and was admitted back to hospital in London.  She spent the next 10 months in hospitals in London, Brighton and Southampton, but due to the damage to her lungs and further complications she sadly passed away on 1st November 2015 at the age of 21 months.

I joined the EBA committee in 2016 after Tilly passed away as I wanted to help support more families going through those difficult life changing situations.

This 15 mile walk is the distance between the TMBU in Brighton and SCBU in Haywards Heath and we are hoping to raise lots of funds that have not been able to be raised due to Covid-19, as well as to raise awareness of this amazing charity.

Members of this team:

Me (Jemma Roberts), Andi Roberts, Mick Godsmark, Georgia Pilfold, Mark Pilfold, Dawn Cavanagh, Emma Flin, Elouise Flin & Karen Perkins
