Story
I'm Jen, I've been working for The Air Ambulance Service as doctor for 6months. During this time I have seen the amazing work the charity do.
This will be my second marathon (I know, I don’t know why I’m repeating it either! It seemed like a good idea before lockdown!). I’ve been training in the rain and sun (mainly rain) since December, and now it’s finally here. I’m excited, but also slightly terrified. If you can spare a few pennies I would appreciate it so much, it will spur me on and its going to such a wonderful cause. Thank you!
The Air Ambulance Service operates the local air ambulance services for Warwickshire & Northamptonshire and Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland as well as the national paediatric and neonatal transfer service, the Children’s Air Ambulance, covering the whole of the UK. The Air Ambulance Service does not receive funding from the government for its daily missions. It relies entirely on voluntary donations and support from our communities and business. Your support will help keep us flying.
