Story

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. I'm running the London Marathon this year and raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

My Brother Dave was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, out of the blue, back in the Summer of 2014. Since then he has really been through the mill and his fight with this dreadful disease continues through to this day.

Pancreatic cancer is a truly awful disease with a very poor prognosis. Despite this, it’s also one of the least funded, receiving approximately just 3% of cancer research funding. Please help me by contributing to a great charity that is searching for a cure for this disease.

My training for the marathon has been tough at times and the race itself absolutely daunts me. However, when the going does get tough, my thoughts turn to my brother, his brave fight and how incredibly proud of him I really am. Run, walk or crawl, my goal is to simply make it to the finish line and, if I can beat the guy in the diving suit, happy days....

Thank you for support.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.
