I decided that rather than send emails or put messages on Facebook and Twitter asking for straightforward donations to The British Lung Foundation, I should and could give something in return to those who wished to donate.

I learned to play keyboards as a child and when a teenager enjoyed playing in London's east end clubs and pubs. Please be aware that I am no Liberace, Keith Emerson or Tony Banks. I am a busker, I hear a piece of music and put my own twist to it.

I will never play the Albert Hall but may do the cruise ship run as a lounge lizard if I do decide to retire. You may describe my music as "Elevator Musak" but I like to think that those listening to it will be tapping their foot by the time they get to the top floor.
