Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page! In July I will be participating in a Ice Hockey charity weekend in Cardiff. 

This will be my very first time participating in such an amazing event! Having played ice hockey for 11 years, I find myself over the moon to be consider to play! 

There is a total of 8 charity teams involved but the one I have chosen is Help For Heroes. 

Players travel far and wide to take part, from Belfast and Bradford, and from Glasgow and Gosport, and even a netminder who lives in Dubai. All players take part with the mutual aim of wanting to play hockey, but more importantly raise funds for some extremely worthwhile causes.

I am very much looking forward to raising money for such a worthy cause as they help to rebuild the men and women that have fought for their country! Every day, men and women have to leave their career in the Armed Forces as a result of physical or psychological wounds. Our fundraising helps them recover and get on with their lives. So far they have supported more than 25,000 people and won’t stop until every veteran gets the support they deserve.
