Ovarian Cancer Action · 6 July 2019

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.

Story

A close family member has recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, this has been a huge shock to us all and left us with a desire to help in any way that we can. The children wanted to be involved and asked if they could raise money for ovarian cancer and there sparked the idea of doing a trek up Scafell Pike.

Since contacting ovarian cancer action, we have learnt just how hard they work to combat this awful disease and how important it is to get the information out to all women on the signs and symptoms.

So please help us to help them by donating here, it means so much to us.

They will be 5 of us on this trek, Jess Vallender-Orton, Rob Vallender, Lisa Maraffi, Theo Orton and Izzy Maraffi .

Thank you for your support.
