Great North Run 2022 · 11 September 2022 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year I have decided to take the challenge and run the Great North Run in honour of my beautiful mum and for a charity which is so close to my heart.
Unfortunately, at the end of 2021 I lost my mum to her battle of mental health. My mum battled with her mind for so many years and everything just got too much in the end. I would have done anything to save my mum, so running to keep her memory alive is something that means so much to me.
Mind helps thousands of people every year with mental health problems. Everyday people rely on charity, such as mind to go too as a final turning point, which enables them to offer support and save many lives.
Mental health should not be stigmatised, it is very much real life, everyday problems that everybody can suffer from. Please don't hide how you feel, talking can help save a life.
Thank you for taking time to read my page and for any donations that have been contributed.
All my love,
Jess
