Hello again, Im glad to announce I completed the Gosport Half Marathon 09 today (yeahe) and would like to thank those who sponsored me, together we had raised lots for Help for Heores. 

The race went well, I kept going through getting stitch (3 times!),  the course included a nice ice cold water feature due to flooding on the paths which we had to cross twice and was calf dip in places and their was a hale shower too  but it came with sun & a lovely rainbow to match. I also have a new family of blisters one is the size of a 1p coin but that is nothing compared to what our troops face.

My time was just outside of my target in a time of 2 Hrs 6 mins which is still a PB for me so I am very happy.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am running the Gosport Half marathon on sunday the 15th November 2009, thats 13.1 Miles! and would like to raise some money for Help for Heroes to support our great troops who risk their lifes for us & unfortunately get wounded in the progess. All the money you so graciously donate will go direct to support them showing our appreciation for thier efforts.

From making this page I have about 2 and a half weeks left to finish my training & raise as much as I can.

I have to run before work, which means pre dawn training thats waking up to get out the door before 6am! it's dark, it's cold (& I look a bit strange wearing a head lamp) but it's worth it.  On the up side I do get to see the sunrise on route :-) 

My target time is 2 hours 5 mins ( hopefully )
