Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It all started in October 2015, when I finally got sick of listening to myself moaning about not being fit and not being healthy. And then I discovered Trampolines and Trainers. In hindsight this was probably a better name...but they called themselves Infinite Air, the extreme trampoline park. Through their fitness classes and support within them,  I met my personal trainer and although this sounds even more extreme than their trampolines, he completely changed my life... well my outlook on the exercise part of it anyway!

So after a few personal training sessions and a couple of glasses of wine (not at the same time-my trainer frowns upon that!!), this challenge was born. I promised to up my fitness and do 12 10ks - one a month - in 2016. But as my fitness improved this didn't seem worthy to start asking people for money.... so it only seemed fair to really challenge myself.

So far I aim to do 12 10k runs,  3 half marathons and 2 obstacle runs in 2016...although the more I fund raise, or the more I am challenged, then the more I will do.

The Children's Foundation offer help and support to children in need of it, physically and mentally. This includes those involved in accidents, those with disabilities, and those with mental health needs including Autism and developmental delay. I will be doing a blog to go with this page, so you can if you like, discover why this charity is so important to our family but either way, any support you can give would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

It goes without saying, if it wasn't for the support of Infinite Air and my trainer (I'm hoping the more I "big him up" the nicer he'll be to me!!) then this challenge would not be possible. so it only seems fair to say a huge public thank you to them on here.

I aim to raise as much as possible by the end of the year... so I apologise now if all you hear me talk about until Christmas is this challenge

And by all means, if you'd like to challenge me to an event in 2016, pledge some money and I'll do it :)

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and hopefully I'll see you bright eyed, bushy tailed and a lot fitter at the end of 2016!!!! If you have any more free time then please check out Infinite Air website (www.infiniteair.co.uk) and on facebook

Thank you for your support and love to you all xxx
