Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving -

Starting on June 21st, 2021 My intension is to paddle SOLO in an inflatable canoe down 135 miles of The River Thames and sleep nightly in a tiny tent.            Hopefully my endeavours will entice you to donate a little to Dementia UK..        They provide Admiral home NURSES having the understanding and skills to help many thousands of people with dementia and support their relatives and friends. Often they have to cope with very challenging and emotional situations.         Your donations to Dementia UK will encourage me to keep going via 45 locks  and find suitable campsites in daylight.      My main concerns are capsizing, managing to clamber ashore, and not getting a puncture.    I aim to send daily  progress texts and photos to keep you interested.
