We fund life changing research to change the future of spinal cord injury

Story

As many of you will know I am currently in the process of completing a self indulged running goal of trying to complete the 6 major world marathons; London, Chicago, Tokyo, Berlin, Boston and New York.

After completing my first marathon in 2015, reporting this
would be my only marathon, I have now become obsessed about what I can achieve and also exploring the world whilst giving myself a physical challenge.

In the process of me committing 3 years of my life (and my
wife’s) to marathon running I thought it would be good to raise some money for a good cause. I have picked 2 charities, which support things close to my heart;Spinal Research and Mind.

I have completed a few events for Spinal Research and would
like to continue to support them. They are a charity that supports research into the development of knowledge, rehabilitation and treatment of those who have suffered spinal cord injuries. With improved research the lives of those who have suffered such injuries will potentially improve, and the rehabilitation we can offer on a day to day basis can continue to progress.

Coincidentally, running and sport is something I have found
has help with my physical and mental wellbeing. I would encourage everyone to engage in some sort of physical activity to improve their well-being.

Please give as little or as much as you feel able to. I will
be keeping this fundraising page open throughout the next 4 marathons, until I complete the New York marathon in November 2020.

Progress of marathons so far:

London 2018 – completed in 3:10:33

Chicago 2018 – completed in 2:58:23 (pb)

Tokyo 2019 – completed in 2:54:27 (pb)

Berlin 2019 – completed in 2:44:31 (pb)

Boston 2020 – entered through GFA entry

New York 2020 - TBC
