The Mothers' Union is a great charity. It's not simply a group of elderly people knitting and drinking tea! Members all over the world help people in their own communities in an huge variety of ways. In this country one of my favourites is the Away From It All programme where families who are having a tough time have a holiday arranged and paid for. In the wider world one of my favourities is the Literacy and Financial Education programme where Local members are trained as Facilitators who then deliver the programme reaching people who have never had the chance of education.

I am training hard, out about 4 times a week for at least an hour and half.
