Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have volunteered to climb Killimajaro in February to support a family chosen by the electrical charity, the Hendrie family. Christopher Hendrie, a well respected, qualified electrician, died of bile duct cancer in 2014 at the age of 32. As a manufacturer working in the electrical industry Christopher could have easily been a user of Heat Mat's products so this is my way to give something back to an industry that, over the past 13 years, has been very good to me and the company I run.
Personally, I have been looking for a challenge that will test me physically as well as mentally/emotionally and this ticks all the boxes, maybe some more than others! This will be the experience that I believe will change lives, mine included.
Now's the time to ask for some support in this challenge, I am aware that this is my experience and I do not expect my industry friends and my family/friends to pay for me to go however I do need some help in raising as much money as I can for the Hendrie family.
