Esme - The Big Chop

Joanne Nightingale is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Esme’s Big Chop · 20 April 2021

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Esme decided she would like to grow her hair long and then have it cut short and donate the hair to make a wig for another child who needs it more than her. Esme has been growing her hair for a long time and it is finally long enough to donate. She would like to raise the money to actually make the wig too. She needs to raise £550. Please, please help her and donate what you can - £1 or £10 - every little helps. Esme came up with this idea all on her own and I’m really proud that she wants to do this.
