When Lauren was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on 2nd September 2021 we were all absolutely devastated, we still are some days, but Lauren has proven to us that she is exceptionally brave, strong, and resilient and we couldn’t be prouder of her. 

We therefore have absolutely no excuse for not braving this challenge, some of us are slightly more terrified (me) than the others!

We will be completing this challenge with 2 other families whose daughters were also diagnosed with Type 1 in 2021, the friendship we’ve made is a silver lining of being diagnosed with this lifelong condition.
