Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

As some of you are aware, we sadly lost my Father in law, Joe Davies earlier this year. He was a wonderful Husband to the beautiful Dorothy and devoted father to Angela, Barrie and Karen. He was also a much loved Grandfather to Kyle, Freya, Olivia, Ben & Tilly. Sadly, Joe passed away on March 2nd, just short of his 81st Birthday.
Despite suffering with Parkinson's disease for more than 20 years, he held a very happy & fulfilled life with his family & friends. Joe was well known for his love of weight training & keeping fit, he had trained for most of his life, even as recently as up to his 80th birthday in the sanction of his own Gym which he built at home. It was his desire and determination to train & keep fit that helped him fight his illness over the years.
As a tribute to celebrate Joe's life and to raise awareness of Parkinson's disease, myself, family & friends will be participating in the 'Tough Mudder Challenge', 16 km over 25 obstacles, on September 4th to raise funds towards Parkinson's UK.
We know its been a difficult year for all, but any donations will be greatly received to help in the research and support for other family's suffering with Parkinson's. We will update pictures of the challenge on the day and would like to thank you for taking the time to read this post .
