Story

In 1892, five years after his leading role in the formation of Celtic Football Club, the Marist Order moved Brother Walfrid from Glasgow to the Whitechapel area of London’s East End. Over the next 15 years, as Head Teacher at St Anne’s Primary, Brother Walfrid transformed the school and also established local boys’ clubs and a project to provide meals to the poor in the local community.

Joe & Antonia will be following in the footsteps of Brother Walfrid and taking part in the Celtic Sleep Out, London at St Anne's Primary on Saturday, December 3rd, 2021 in support of Celtic FC Foundation's annual Christmas Appeal. We will be spending the night from 9.00pm to 5.00am battling the elements outdoors, all for a wonderful cause. The Appeal will help to bring the magic of the festive season to children, families, pensioners and others who are struggling at an especially challenging time of year.

We would be grateful if you could sponsor us and in doing so support the great work of the Celtic FC Foundation throughout the year but particularly over the Christmas period.
