Story

On 30th July 2016, we found out our awe-inspiring mum, Joey, had terminal ovarian cancer.

We knew we wouldn't have long, but we did get a little bit longer to hold her hand, give her kisses, look after her and tell her we love her. She died at home on 27th October 2016.

She was married to my dad, Phil, for nearly 32 years, and had seven children and ten grandchildren. Mum created, and continues to create, an enormous legacy of love. She touched more lives than she knew.

We know people want to do something when they find out news like this, so we set this page up to support Macmillan. They give so much practical and emotional support - not something you can truly appreciate until it happens to you.

We are staggered by how much money we managed to raise: it far exceeded our expectations. We are no longer actively seeking donations for this page, but thank you so much if you have given, and if you wish to donate, please do.

Love Phil, Daniel, Sophie, Ben, Eliza, Jess, Sooz and George.
