Story
I’m taking on the Edinburgh Marathon on 24th May with a pretty ambitious goal… a sub-3 hour finish, aiming to knock off 34 minutes from last year's effort. 😅
To be honest, despite training all year I'm still no where near the pace needed for a sub 3 but I like a challenge so I'm still going for it and hoping it comes together on the home straight.
I’m hoping to raise £750 for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that does incredible work supporting people and families through some of the toughest times imaginable. Any support, big or small, would genuinely mean a lot.
To make the weekend even more special, my 3-year-old daughter Robyn is also taking part - she’ll be running the kids’ 1K the day before! If you’d like to, you can sponsor her too (or just her) and cheer her on as she takes on her own big challenge.
Thanks so much for any support, it really does make a difference.
