My name is John Bromage and when i was born i was not supposed to survive the day! Within 24hrs i had my first operation to close the hole in my back. At 16days old i had my first brain surgery to insert a shunt. Since then I have had 4 more brain surgeries. I am also more than 'spins bifida' and 'hydrocephalus' I am a fun loving , mischievous little boy. Through all my problems mummy and daddy have been supported by Shine with so much useful information and help, Shine help children and adults (and their families) with spina bifida and hydrocephalus & i would like to help them carry on doing this 😀                     Shine provides specialist support from before birth and throughout the life of anyone living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, as well as to parents, families, carers and professional care staff.
