On the 20th August I'll be running the 'Big Fun Run' 5k in Manchester in memory of my sister's very lovely and incredibly brave friend Sophie, who sadly lost her battle with cancer earlier this year. Along with Sophie's family and friends I'm going to be raising money for 'Beating Bowel Cancer' which does amazing work supporting people with this horrible disease. 

It's only a 5k but given that up to this point in my life my only exercise has been crawling between pubs and running for the occasional train this will be a challenge! I have literally had to buy myself some trainers as apparently it can't be run in brogues, no matter how sturdy. Any donations that you can spare would be much appreciated and will be going to a fantastic cause!
