Remembrance Day · 15 October 2020

The RBL are the UK's leading charity providing financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the British Armed Forces and their dependents.

Story

The Poppy Appeal is the Royal British Legion’s biggest fundraising campaign held every year in November, the period of Remembrance.

This year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, you may see less of our devoted volunteer Poppy Appeal collectors in your local communities, but you can help by sharing this with family, friends, and neighbours and contribute to the Appeal.

We at John Hampden Grammar School think that this is a really good way for donations from Poppy Collectors and other individuals to get their money to The Royal British Legion and hope that a paperless payment system will work well.

All money paid in goes directly to The Royal British Legion HQ and we'd like to try to raise £800 for them
