At the end of 2018 my great uncle Peter was sadly taken from us. He was a wonderful and caring man who taught me to bowl and taught me to sail. When I was younger I would quite often pop in to see him and my aunty Pat on my way home school. He was an independent, loving, family man. But Parkinson's changed that. He wasn't able to spend the time with his family like he did before. He became tired, shaky and he lost his mobility. When he lost his battle with this awful illness, the whole family were left feeling the loss. 

In his memory I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in March 2019 and I want to raise as much money for Parkinson's UK to help try to find a cure for this terrible illness.
