Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer in August 2009 and underwent surgery and radiotherapy to remove the tumour. A year later my temporary stoma was reversed, and my hernia, that had grown on the site of the operation, was repaired. From then on I felt I had been given a second chance in life and I was determined to help others get the same outcome.

Bowel Cancer UK were very helpful and supportive throughout my cancer, so I want to give back to them as much as I can to help fund research, and support for others in a similar situation.

Bowel Cancer is very treatable if caught early, so donating today also helps increase awareness in the public, and the medical profession, of signs and symptoms to look out for.

Please be generous - thank you for listening!
