Story
I'm walking 60 miles in June to help transform the future of pancreatic cancer.
Currently, half of those diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within three months. My own mum, Margaret, died from the illness in 2019.
However, there is hope.
In the last five years Pancreatic Cancer UK - the charity I am supporting - has seen more progress in fighting this cancer than in the previous five decades.
In the next five years, we know we can step up the pace and drive this progress even further forward, transforming how we diagnose, treat and care for people with pancreatic cancer – and ultimately saving lives.
By donating to my challenge, you're making support available for people suffering with the illness right now. You're also helping to fund research into finding desperately needed new ways of tackling this awful disease.
Any donation or support you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
