Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime? I have just had my PSA blood test come back as a smidge above (as my doctor called it) the cut off line for a result that needs investigation, and after my biopsy last week, I’ve been told I have cancerous cells in my prostate, just waiting now to see the consultant. While I wait I’m taking on the Walk 60 Miles in November challenge for PCR to change this and help make a difference to men and their families who have been affected by prostate cancer.
