I think it is safe to say this will be my first and last attempt at a marathon!

The 'maranoia’ has properly set in now, I am 100% in unchartered territory and the initial excitement at doing this has been fully overwhelmed by the size of the challenge on the day, by the amount of training required to do this properly and by the number of 5:30am alarm calls that my suffering but supportive family will be facing between now and April 23rd!

At work (Upgrade Options Ltd) we partner with the Surrey branch of the British Legion and I have seen first hand how hard they work - This is my chance to do my bit.

All sponsorship raised and will be put to great use by them, as well as helping me commit to tying my laces and getting out there in the grotty weather before my morning tea and toast!
