ADAPT supports parents and families of premature and poorly babies whilst on the neonatal units and when the babies go home for as long as support is needed. We help parents and families through the emotional trauma of having a special care baby.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running my third London Marathon to help raise some much needed funds for a local charity called ADAPT.  They provide support and assistance to the parents and carers of premature babies in the Leicestershire area.  My wife Lesley is a support worker for ADAPT and is based at the neo-natal units at the Leicester Royal Infirmary and the City General Hospital.  I hear first hand of the many tales of help and support this worthwhile charity provides to parents who are less unfortunate than me and at the time of crisis in their family circle, need a shoulder to cry on, to provide support and help, and to assist financially.

My employer Aon Consulting, have offered to match pound for pound every donation made up to £250, so let's get them digging into their pockets, feel free to donate, it all helps this locally funded charity!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
