Story

Today my family and  I will be taking part in a charity walk for The Brain Tumour Charity in memory of my Dad. John Byrne

We’re not only doing this for my Dad but for anyone living with this terrible disease.. My Dad was diagnosed with glioblastoma (BRAIN CANCER) on 29th May 2018. There was no indication and absolutely no way of preventing it’s development.

In the last months of my dads life, my family and I became his full time careers. Although it took almost everything from him, his sense of humour did not suffer & he had us all laughing right until the very end.

We all tried to stay as positive and as optimistic as possible but we felt so helpless and my Dad lived for 3 months after his diagnosis.

We are so passionate about raising money towards this charity to help all the people living with this awful and terrifying disease.
