The Wildlife Trusts are here to make the world wilder and make nature part of life, for everyone. More than 850,000 members and 35,000 volunteers work together with their Wildlife Trust to stand up for nature on land and at sea: from mountain tops to the seabed, from hidden valleys to city streets.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Jo's JustGiving page.

Jo was a passionate cartographer, explorer and adventurer. He aimed to see every world heritage site on the planet, and was doing an excellent job working his way through them, documenting anything and everything of interest. On his travels, he particularly sought out places off the beaten track, unloved ruins or places where he might see native wildlife. He also loved to meet the local people, to try their food, and explore their customs. He valued these experiences way above material goods and was never happier than when watching,  or sitting amongst, the birds and animals in far off climes, or perhaps most of all, in his beloved England. Very sadly his life was cut short. Rather than buying flowers, this portal has been set up by his partner and family so that friends and family can donate small amounts to help the work of the Wildlife Trusts in his memory, to promote the conservation of our natural heritage.
