I previously volunteered for this charity, run by dedicated staff! Working with profoundly deaf children and their families.  They make such a huge impact on the lives of thousands, an I have always been grateful for the impact they had on me in opening my eyes to the lives of others.

I did my couch to 5k between August and October 2015, eventually starting outdoor running last May.  I've slowly worked my way up to this distance and I hope to finish in under 1 hour 50 mins.  I have never run more than 5k in my life prior to October 15 so this is new territory to me.

The course contains 5 hills of note so it's not a walk in the park.
