In the summer as England's test cricket team came back from a ridiculous position to win against the Aussies... the silly promise seemed the right thing to do.

OK we are mad.  So a 5K Parkrun around Rushcliffe Park, Ruddington, Nottingham is planned for 9am on Saturday 7th December.

Wow, we met our original target. We thought we would get about 300 people that came to parkrun on the 7th December to donate a pound in a bucket. Parkrun reps asked us to use JustGiving and after the great initial response (cheekily) we have upped the target to £634 equivalent to the highest attendance at Rushcliffe Parkrun. A massive thumbs-up to those that have got us here. Suddenly we don't care if it's cold and gravel gets into our footwear because now, well, we are doing it for you!
