Every family goes through the pain and uncertainty of having an ill child. Back in 2016 this was me and my family with my little girl. We ended up being referred to Sheffield Children's Hospital where we would spend the next two years going back and forth for appointments and surgeries. The team there are amazing and do everything they can to make these visits as calm and stress free as possible. Every member of staff we met smiled and always made us feel better about being there.

As has now become the annual tradition, Tom and I will be playing video games for 24 hours straight starting on the 29th October. This may sound like an "easy' challenge, but I can assure you, after last year, it's no small feat! For those who think it might not be too much of a challenge, join us on the day (and night!) and add to the chaos. I'll be streaming the event through my Twitch account (twitch.tv/jc_r4cer), and for every Twitch subscription or 250 bits we receive during the stream, we'll extend the timer by 5 minutes. All funds received during the stream (subscriptions, bits, donations) will all be donated to The Children's Hospital Charity.
