London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·
This year I am running the London Marathon (pretty far) for PSPA in support of my Grandad. PSP is a rare disease that affects neurological function. My Grandad is a sufferer of PSP and I am running the marathon for not only him but the many others who suffer. Grandad was a very keen sportsman who played rugby and cricket to a good standard so it is sad to see how his condition has changed over the past 10 years. Witnessing the negative impacts this disease has had on Grandad has motivated me to run the marathon and raise as much money as I can to help other families deal with the effects of this cruel disease. PSP is not currently well understood and at the minute there is neither a test nor a cure for PSP so all donations will go a long way in terms of funding medical research! PSPA provides support and information for people suffering from PSP and CBD as well as funding research into treatment.
PSPA is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD). They provide information and support for people affected by PSP & CBD whilst funding research into the causes, treatment, and eventually a cure. Together we can stop PSP & CBD in their tracks.
