Rachel and I are for some unknown reason running our first marathon in Dublin on 28th October. How the idea was conceived is anybody’s guess but we are in the cusp of the race and filled with both excitement and nerves. Mo Farah’s recent European record has added to the pressure but we must not lose focus.
We didn’t set out to run for a charity however several friends have suggested we should and being the chancers that we are, we thought this is a great opportunity to raise some money for Cancer Research UK, a charity that is close to our hearts and does amazing work to benefit virtually everybody. Any donation is gratefully appreciated.
