Reading is both a gift and a right however 63,000 children left primary school last year not unable to read to the expected level. Not reading well can mean a life sentence of poverty.

Beanstalk volunteers work one to one with children to develop an  interest and confidence in reading, a skill which will enrich and change their lives for ever.

£5 will provide 1 weeks worth of literacy support.
