Equinox 24 · 12 June 2015

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September, I will be running in a 24 hour multi terrain endurance race for Rainbows Hospice to help them continue their fantastic work.

Rainbows Hospice provides care to life-limited children and young people. Their incredible team of people helps relieve symptoms, improve quality of life, support parents and siblings through their bereavements and care for children until the end.

You can find out more about the Equinox race here:

Oddly enough I am excitedly looking forward to the laps in the night and early morning.

I am running it as part of a team with friends from EducationCity ( my wife's employer) to raise money for Rainbows.

You can find more information about the great work that Rainbows do in supporting children (and their families) with life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses here: http://www.rainbows.co.uk/the-hospice

Please wish us all luck & we thank you for your donations to this fantastic charity!
