I’m running a 1/2 marathon for Tree Aid because I love trees and forests and care about their impact in combating climate change.

There’s an ancient Jewish saying: ‘If you’re busy planting a tree and hear that the Messiah has come; first finish planting the tree, then go and greet him.’

Trees bring life and joy to people, provide a home for birds and wildlife, protect the soil and can help save the planet.

I’ve committed myself to trying to plant a tree every week for the rest of my life through Tree Aid and other organisations across the world.
