Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 2016 · 31 July 2016 ·

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Last year a good friend of mine Stuart Wallace lost his 26 year old son ‘Tom Wallace’ to a rare blood condition. Tom died from the Blood Cancer, Lymphoma, and a very rare immune system disorder called HLH (Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis),triggered by the lymphoma.

Stuart and his family have pledged to raise £25k for 'Bloodwise' in Tom’s memory. Tom's death has had a devastating impact on their family and I would very much like to help them achieve their pledge. Stuart has set up a Just Giving page which tells the full story https://www.justgiving.com/remember/239595/Thomas-Wallace

On Sunday the 31st July, I will be riding in this year’s Prudential Ride London 100 – a 100 mile cycle ride starting from the Olympic Park in Stratford out through the streets of London,  out around the Surrey Hills and finishing back in London on the Mall.

Please either make a donation here via my Just giving page or via Stuart's page https://www.justgiving.com/remember/239595/Thomas-Wallace

All donations will help Bloodwise continue their vital work towards finding cures for these awful blood cancer disorders. https://bloodwise.org.uk

Thank you

Jon
