Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This summer I am spending 4 weeks teaching mathematics to secondary school students in Agona East, Ghana.
The children I will be with are greatly underprivileged and a lot of them are not offered a decent level of education. Qualified teachers are sparse, and the classrooms lack the most basic resources, with class sizes often exceeding 100 pupils. During my unpaid trip I hope to offer many young Ghanaians the opportunity to realise their potential to learn and give themselves a better future.
The scheme 'Warwick in Africa' for which I am fundraising is now in its 10th year and is a very well established program - over 200,000 learners have already benefitted from its influence. Please be aware that your donations would not directly be for me, but rather to sustain the project to continue for the years to come.
Any donations would be most appreciated.
