I'm running for my Dad! 

Recently my Dad passed after suffering a heart attack. He was the greatest person i could have ever wished to know and love. He cared for everyone first before himself even though he had been suffering with ill health for a while. 2 years ago my Dad decided to get a dog, a boisterous fox red labrador called Oakley. They were inseparable, going everywhere together as best buds. Dad cared so much for Oakley and all other dogs he came in to contact with. Always having treats at hand and giving them all lots of fuss.

With Dad gone, we as a family look after Oakley and he is ok even though he misses his best mate. I want to dedicate my marathon run to my Dad and honour his memory. I know that the Dogs Trust is a charity my Dad would love me to support. 

I will be running the York Marathon on Sunday 20th October. If you could do me the favour of donating what you can i'd very much appreciate it, and i know the big man upstairs would too.
