Story

The 2002 Brazil side is one of the best of all time, rivalled only by their nations counterparts in 1970. The Brazilian’s powered to their fifth World Cup win in 2002 and in no small part to the striking prowess of the best player in the world at the time, Ronaldo. Throughout the entirety of this year’s College Cup I’m going to try to emulate his achievements and channel the essence of the Gold & Green into the Black & the Blue.

To mark the start of the 2017 College Cup, I will be rolling back the years a decade and a half to revive one of the world’s most infamous haircuts, all in aid of our club charity CALM.

Suicide is the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK and the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is a charity dedicated to preventing male suicide and trying to combat the stigma of men seeking help when they need it.

CALM are a wonderful charity who do some tremendous work and it is this great cause for which me undertaking all this nonsense is all about – if it’s a penny or a pound your donation would be massively appreciated.
