Josh's Fundraising Page for Pilgrim's Hospice

London to Brighton Challenge 2017 · 27 May 2017 to 28 May 2017 ·
For some reason I have decided to take on a new challenge for me. I am going to take part in the London to Brighton Challenge, which is a 100km ultra distance event. There are a number of ways to enter this event, but I want to run it in a single day. The cut off time for this is 15 hours, but I'm already aiming to do it in under 10.
I am also writing a blog about my journey to my first ultra-distance run. This will see weekly updates as I complete each of the 40 week training plan I have devised for myself. It is predominantly for myself so I can track my progress, mood and so forth, but I also hope it will make an enjoyable read whilst potentially inspiring at least one person to get up and run!
My employer (www.clague.co.uk) have kindly sponsored me to take part in this event, and in return I am raising support for Pilgrim's Hospice, our charity of the year.
Pilgrim's Hospice are based in East Kent and they help raise awareness of hospice care, by running national campaigns, they improve the quality of hospice care by offering education and courses to hospice staff, and by helping hospices fundraise, amongst other things. I think you’ll agree they’re a worthy cause to raise funds for!
So, if you are able to, please help me support Pilgrim's Hospice, and if possible read the blog if you fancy a laugh! Minimum donation is £1 per kilometer :P
