Story
As you will know our beautiful Josie passed away back in March 2017 aged just 5 and a half months. She had been in hospital for 3 and a half months. For about half of that time she was being treated in Glasgow Children's Hospital. Whilst there we were provided with free home from home accommodation at the Ronald McDonald house. I can't even tell you all how amazing that was for us being in such a stressful situation so far from home. We could not have afforded to pay for accommodation and keep our home back in Northern Ireland. It also meant we could be just minutes from Josie as the house is on the hospital grounds. The facilities they provide are brilliant and mean you can just focus on your child without worries about where you will sleep or wash and dry your clothes etc. The house is funded solely by donations!
We originally set a target of raising £1000 to celebrate her 1st Birthday which we made! Can’t thank you all enough! A plaque went up on the family tree in the Ronald McDonald house in Glasgow. This will stay there for 3 years.
Our new target is to raise £10,000 in the next 3 years! This will get a plaque in Josie’s name that will stay on the family tree forever!! 👼🏼💕This would mean such a lot to our family and £10,000 would do so much for this wonderful charity!
Thank you for all your continued support, it means so much to our family! 😘😘
