Hi my name is Jude Mchugh and I am two and a half.  I was born with a disability called Cerebral Palsy.  This means that my brain doesn't pass messages to my body in the way that it should do, and therefore I cannot walk.  At the moment I am able to get around my house by bunny hopping but I would do anything to be able to walk.  My brother Jacob loves chasing around and I really wish that I could join in doing this with him.

My Mummy and Daddy have been doing a lot of research into Cerebral Palsy and we have been trying lots of things to help me to walk, but no matter how hard I try at the moment I just can't do it.  We applied for an operation called SDR and were accepted and told that following it I would walk on my own.  However my Mummy and Daddy took me to see two specialist consultants and they said that this operation was not right for me.  This was very upsetting as we had got our hopes up.  The specialists said that my best chance of walking is if I have lots of physiotherapy and swimming lessons to build up my muscles, and so this is what we are going to do.

This is where I need your help.  The physiotherapy and swimming lessons are very expensive and Mummy and Daddy need some help to afford them.  Every penny that you donate will help me on this journey.  I will never be able to thank you enough for helping to make my dreams come true, but I hope that seeing me more mobile will show you that your money had been so well spent.
