Judith's Half Marathon in memory of my sister Alison

It's nearly a year since my wonderful sister Alison was diagnosed with secondary brain tumours, and over six months since she passed away.
We were lucky to have some wonderful times with her immediately after the diagnosis, however the speed with which the tumours took hold was astonishing.
A fundraising day at Alison's workplace, UKAR, and the funeral collection raised over £3,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care and Alison's Brownie pack, so when my Mum found out about Brain Tumour Research and Support across Yorkshire (BRTSY), we decided that this was the perfect charity to support. If you'd like further information about the charity, formerly known as Andrea's Gift, please visit http://www.andreasgift.org.uk/
I've run 10Ks and a 10 mile race before, but this is my furthest distance yet. Thanks to Anne Mette for suggesting the reunion in Munich, which in turn led to me deciding to run the half marathon.
I know that many of you have supported me over the past years as I've raised money for Jane's Appeal, Martin House and Alzheimer's Society, however I hope you'll be able to dig deep just once more and make a donation.
Thanks so much.
