In Memory of Judy Garrett

Motor Neuron Disease is a fatal and rapidly progressing disease affecting the brain and spinal chord. It kills a third of those affected within a year of diagnosis. A person's lifetime risk of developing MND is 1 in 300 so it touches many families. The disease progressively impacts cognition, mobility, speech, eating and breathing.
MND Scotland have provided superb timely support for us in the year since Judy's diagnosis with building adaptation (e.g. wet room), benefits (e.g. blue badge for parking) and counselling - as well as funding R&D and advocating for increased government support.. Please help them to help others when time is of the essence in dealing with this devastating disease.
