Hertford 500 Mile Bike Ride

Hertford 500 Mile Bike Ride · 11 July 2020 to 18 July 2020 ·
In July, I will be cycling 569 miles, starting in Venice and ending up back in Oxford.
569 miles. Gulp.
That includes crossing the Italian and Austrian Alps, the Vosges mountains - 7,473m of ascent over eight days. Oh, and a couple of optional climbs from stage 5 & 6 of the 2019 Tour de France (sure).
This is my last fundraising adventure for Hertford College. It has been an amazing six years, and I would be so happy if you could give something to support the fantastic work they do.
And also - if you donate, then I really do have to do this.
A bit more info about where your donation will go: Hertford was the first college to encourage applicants from state schools in the 1960s, and it has been a leader on every progressive front since then. They spend more than £100,000 on bursaries for students every year, and even more on scholarships and hardship grants. 25% of Hertford undergraduates receive some form of student support, and it costs more than double what we receive in tuition fees to provide tutorials and academic support.
Thank you! And if you want to come on a training ride...
